What is the best way to cosplay if you can’t go to conventions?

Other than Halloween?
I cosplayed twice, Misa Amane to the DN movie at the theater and Aerith Gainsborough for Halloween. But how do I cosplay if I absolutley can’t go to a con?

Also do you think it is a waste of money to try to make a perfect costume[like buy exact fabric, simalar wig, shoes, etc.] if you don’t go to conventions?

The easiest soloution would probably be starting your own party.Or if you’re not very social possibly encourage a friend to do so.

Also, if you can afford the needed materials then go for it. If costume making is a hobby you enjoy go for it!

A lot of people like to post their cosplays on youtube, and they often get a lot of views and comments.

Spend as much money as you like on the costume, it’s just like any other hobby, it just depends on how much you want to get into it.
