@zelvadrian Bush was a Neocon, which is often confused with “ultra Right Wing” because they push Conservative spending and military ideals with none of the fiscal conservatism of Eisenhower or even Reagan to balance it out. Eisenhower’s Interstate Highway project was a huge expensive government project that is still paying dividends to this day. Reagan raised taxes 4 of his 8 years as president over concern of his skyrocketing deficit. Neocons only see one side: tax cuts & military spending.

@JAdamSnyderr First, Bush made “the sorry state of our military” as a reason to vote for him, but that same “decimated” military invaded Afghanistan and overthrew the Taliban in just days (and the same military invaded Iraq and overthrew Saddam). Two wars on two fronts at the same time? That’s hardly, “Not ready for duty”. It took BUSH to TRULY decimate the military to the point where it could not respond to another new threat if called upon.
