Robert Plant and Kristina Donahue guest with Fairport Convention to perform Led Zeppelin’s “The Battle Of Evermore” at Cropredy 2008.

This was played as tribute to Sandy Denny on the 30th Anniversary of her death.

    This is probobly the best live version of this song. This is the one Zeppelin’s song which is much much better in studio than live, because its very hard to sing and only Sandy Denny could sing it perfectly.

    Thanks for posting . The girls does her very best but if something is clear after listening to this performance it’s that Sandy Denny is so sadly missed. Like Elvis who would have been 75 today.
