Hotels near Birmingham NEC Convention Centre?

February 7th, 2010 | by admin |

Please help me with 2-3 start hotels/accomodation options closer to Birmingham NEC Convention Centre.
Is it cheaper to book online or via a tour agent in birmingham?

Thank you
KW

The Cheapest but decent one is Travelodge just right across the street. If you book early, you can get it pretty cheap, like 26 quid.

I stay there before and it is fabulous.

The NEC has a booking line for hotel accommodation

BUT – if you want a really fantastic hotel, in one of England’s oldest moated houses, head for New Hall – (well, it was new in the 13th Century). As you arrive a notice warns you ‘beware of low flying ducks’ and although the modern rooms in the annexe are cheaper (but still good) try and spend one night in one of the four-poster suites.

And if you go now, you can get a wonderful day in their spa – see http://www.after-cancer.com/special-offers.

And it’s about 20 minutes drive from NEC.

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. just go here: http://bookme.com/hotels.php and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it’s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online… otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
