Who is it that cares so much about the opinions of bloggers that they have so much relevance and power?

Seriously. Who cares? It’s just some moron with a computer that probably isn’t good enough to hit actual print, yet they get so much attention from the main stream media. I can’t imagine these people as anything more than a collective group of wanna-be’s that make the ‘Comic Book Guy’ from the Simpsons seem social adept.
Every time I hear the term "blogosphere", I can’t help but think that something has finally grouped together more lonely, pathetic mama’s boys than a Star Trek convention.
Does anyone here really care what random excrement comes from the wasteland of a mind of a blogger?

You are so right. One in 1000 bloggers has something interesting and informative to say. The rest of them could blog on toliet paper. that’s about all their two cents is worth.

    i agree it is stupid and a waste of time to read/write one, nobody has a professional opinion and i could care less what others think
