Walking distance to Orange County Convention center?
February 18th, 2010 | by admin |I will be attending a conference in Oraldo @ the Orange County Convention Center. I need a hotel that is walking distance to the convention center. PLEASE HELP! Thank you.
The closest is actually the Rosen Plaza — definitely check that out.

Rosen Plaza Hotel and The Peabody are the two closest, but there are several others on Universal Blvd. Do a yahoo map search for 9100 Universal Blvd. Orlando, Fl. and look at the "street view" you’ll see what I mean. Actual walking distance will depend where in the convention center your conference will be held. The center is so large and long that it is several blocks between one end and the other. You might also check to see if the conference you are attending is offering shuttle buses, many conventions do.
