Detained at the MTCC Prior To G20 Summit – Metro Toronto Convention Centre South Building

Security for the Metro Toronto Convention Centre detain Shaun and Dave as they shoot footage prior to the G20 Summit.

This video demonstrates that by standing firm, nobody can give themselves the right to view or delete your film. Trespassers must leave private property upon first notice, and they may only be arrested if they refuse to do so.

These security guards initially said we were being detained and were to accompany them to the security office. We politely declined, but kept filming to see if they would insist on deleting our footage. Eventually another security guard arrives, advises the office to film us on security camera, and claims we were never being detained in the first place.

Does anyone here remember the 1988 G7 summit held in the Metro Convention Centre/Hart House?

That summit was hosted by PM Brian Mulroney. I came to Canada 1991 so I don’t remember anything of that summit, but were the protests back then as bad? Why wasn’t as bad back then as it was now?

I wasn’t even born then, but I heard stories that it wasn’t as bad as this. There were protests, but none involved burning police cars and looting countless stores.

Here’s a little tutorial on how to really pile on the ACES points in Ranbow Six: Vegas 2 when you’re doing a Terrorist Hunt in the Convention Centre level.

Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn’t. Seems the best way to pull it off is too do a combination off use the C4 trap and fight.
